All Africa Champs (Mauritius) and Pan American Cup (Brazil)

The All Africa Championships were held in Mauritius on the 31st March and was going to decide the future direction of my triathlon career. The focus of my latter career has been to qualify for the London Olympics as the African New Flag. Essentially this entails being the highest ranked non-South African, African. SA Champs Port Elizabeth

Sunday 17th March was set to be one of the most crucial races in terms of earning ITU points and moving up my position on the world rankings. I made the trip down to PE on the Friday prior to the race to try and rest up before a busy Saturday whereby had to combine my pre- race warm up with my work has BSG Elite Team manager.
