One week away until All Africa Champs 2009. Will be an interesting test to see how work and training has mixed over the last few months... not to mention the sub 0 degree weather JHB has been experiencing!

Duathlon time!

It has been a while since I have uploaded anything- mainly because there has not been a lot of racing other than a few duathlons. With the onset of winter, the swim leg falls away and replaced with another run. I have recently competed in the Northern and Central Gauteng Duathlon Champs, placing 3rd and 2nd respectively. These have been 'training races' with no taper but rather my 'threshold' run for the week. It has meant the 10k run, 40k bike, 5k run races have ended with sore legs, but hav...
