Joburg Tri Series Race 1- 3rd

Health tips for the festive season!

Reduce stress
Stress is one of the biggest health worries at this time of the year as you try to juggle your finances
and plan a feast for your family.Try to plan your budget and work out what you can afford.

If it's a bit tight, don't feel pressured to overspend on anything and tell your friends and family
that you're cutting back this year. They'll understand, they may even feel relieved!

Get some exercise
We have an incredible climate in RSA so use the hours in the sun and even a small amount ...

Final of BSG Energade Series

This last weekend saw the final of the BSG Energade series and unfortunately it was a continuation of the previous two races' results. A 10th was the result of pushing too hard in the swim, off the pace in the bike and suffering on the run.. anyway, my body was/is incredibly tired. I have taken the last few days off training to see if can recoup for this Sunday's OD in Germiston- the start of the JHB City Triseres.

Two races at sea level- 7th, 9th- whats going on?!

The last two weeks the BSG Elite Triathlon team travelled to Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. As you have read already, the positions werent too hot, however, there has also been a step up in competition. I have also finally realised that am not suited to flying down the afternoon before the race at sea level, and rather need two days to acclimatise from altitude. Minor I know, but perhaps the reason. Bio Rythyms! Anyway, two races, two weekends left...
